2020 Pinnacle Framer X5 Steel Framing Machine

This Pinnacle FRAMER X5 is an automated multi-profile (C+C and C+U) cold-formed steel framing system built for producing structural and non-structural steel framing components with unlimited web size flexibility. The line is fully linked to PinnacleCAD software for 3D modeling, detailing, and structural calculations, with full NC control integration for automated production.

The X5 offers unlimited automatic profile adjustment across a C & U range of 75mm–250mm, supplied standard with five web size tools (75mm, 89mm, 140mm, 200mm, 250mm); additional web size tooling can be ordered as needed. Flange capability is 50mm. The system handles gauge ranges from 0.7mm to 2mm (24–14 gauge) via semi-automatic metric dial adjustment, with twelve roll-forming stations and sixteen frame & truss tooling punches.

Production output ranges from 450–900 m/hr depending on model and design, with a max line speed up to 3,000 m/hr on plain C or U sections. The system is driven by a 15 HP main drive motor and 10 HP hydraulic power unit, complete with hydraulic oil cooler, reservoir, and accumulator. A powered de-coiler (3,000 kg capacity), fully integrated inkjet printer, and Windows-based PC controller round out the system.
